One of the main goals of How to Western Blot is to provide easy, free information for new graduate students (and all researchers) who work in molecular biology labs. Life in the lab can be a difficult adjustment for new researchers, particularly graduate students, who do not have a great deal of experience in molecular biology techniques. In our opinion, the At the Bench book series by Kathy Barker is a terrific information resource for students who have questions as they begin laboratory research for a graduate degree. As far as we know, there are currently six titles in the series. While they might not all be useful for any single person, the books cover a wide variety of topics, and may therefore offer at least one useful book for any researcher.
